Thaki and Close the Gap: an ongoing partnership

For more than six years, Close the Gap has partnered with Thaki, a non profit social enterprise whose mission is to unlock the potential of refugee and vulnerable children through transformative digital learning. Since 2019, we have supported the work of Thaki by providing over 2,000 refurbished laptops, helping expand access to quality education for communities that face displacement, conflict, and systemic barriers.

A Digital Classroom on Wheels: The Rebirth of the Digitruck with Pebbles Project

Pebbles Project is a South African non-profit organization passionate about supporting children and their families in farming communities, especially in the winelands near Cape Town. Many of these children come from families that are working in vineyards, with limited access to quality education and digital tools.
