This simple but important principle significantly reduces waste and cuts down on the demand for new raw materials. Each Digitruck is completely solar-powered, making it independent of fossil fuels and lowering its carbon footprint.

Inside the Digitruck, learners gain hands-on experience with technology. Equipped with laptops, tablets, and internet access, it provides vital digital literacy skills to communities that might otherwise be left behind. The laptops within the Digitrucks are also refurbished, giving them a second life. This practice directly tackles the growing problem of electronic waste (e-waste), a hazardous waste stream with significant environmental and health consequences, thus furthering the goals of SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production).
