As we all know, the digital divide prevalent in our world today affects many societal sectors. One of these being the health care and the social sector, Close the Gap took part in the Fordham’s Institute for Women and Girls's discussion on the ways in which to tackle the challenges of digital inequality at play in the field. We are thereby most grateful to the Fordham Graduate School of Social Service and the International Health Awareness Network (IHAN) for hosting this virtual conference. It enabled a most interesting discussion, allowing reflection upon the academic and practical findings on digital inequality's effects and challenges in the healthcare sector. We further talked through the possibilities of closing this divide and are thankful for the many interesting insights shared by all the other participants!
