Are you part of a Belgian organisation that helps vulnerable young people to enhance their opportunities and do you need computers? Together with DNS Belgium, Close the Gap launches its first PC Solidarity call for proposals for Belgian not-for-profit organisations.

After the exciting announcement from last August that Close the Gap and DNS Belgium's PC Solidarity Project would be renewed, and the official launch of the the project's website last month, the first call for proposals is now open!

PC Solidarity wants to support Belgian projects that want to enlarge opportunities of youth with a vulnerable background. Over the course of the years, since the start of the PC Solidarity project, about 20000 computers have already been placed in Belgian schools, community centers and other organisations with a social goal linked to youth in mind.

With the re-launch of the project, Close the Gap and DNS Belgium want to focus on Belgian youth with a distance to the job market or with a vulnerable background. This way, these youngsters will also receive the opportunity to develop their digital skills.

Through the King Baudouin Foundation, 3 calls for proposals are organised each year, closely following one another so that there is always one open call. The first of these calls has been opened on November 1st. Submit your case here until February 27th 2020.
