From 3-5 June, Close the Gap's Project Manager Bram Over attended the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) in The Hague, the Netherlands. Co-organised by the United States and the Netherlands, the GES is an international platform where entrepreneurs from all around the world can present their innovative solutions and businesses.

The Global Entrepreneurship Summit aims to create an environment where concrete business deals are obtained through the fostering of innovation, the empowering of entrepreneurs and the engagement of investors. On the programme are a variety of keynotes by international speakers and expert sessions addressing key business challenges.

The GES also wants to be the place where entrepreneurs can pitch their ideas, share their knowledge and expand their networks by building partnerships.

Our Project Manager Bram Over attended the summit to spread Close the Gap's story and to connect with other businesses and entrepreneurs. On Monday evening, he attended the opening ceremony hosted by the Dutch Prime Minister.

On Wednesday, he was present at a specific workshop on financing new business models to boost resource efficiency and innovation. In this workshop, he was able to share some of Close the Gap's insights and experiences with the other participants.
