Leap 2: Third Innovation Challenge - Tech Women in Uganda

Close the Gap is proud to announce the third Leap 2 Innovation Challenge. Leap 2 is part of the new strategy of Close the Gap. This program supports young African entrepreneurs developing and scaling digital solutions for societal issues.
The third challenge takes place in Uganda and was launched at the beginning of March. This Tech Women challenge will focus on female entrepreneurs, whose business is changing the digital field in Uganda. During the LEAP², GoodUp, Close the Gap and WITU (Women in Technology Uganda), challenge young Ugandan female entrepreneurs to boost their innovation by:
raising capital through a crowdfunding campaign (with matching funding of up to 2,000€ per campaign)
attending professional trainings in crowdfunding and pitching
creating a network and the opportunity to showcase their innovation
Finals will be announced on May 18 2018.
