Close the Gap congratulates "Ondernemers voor Ondernemers" on 15 years

Belgian-based "Ondernemers voor Ondernemers" celebrated their 15th anniversary in a style befitting the organization and their mission on October 7, 2015.

Key stakeholders, including Alexander de Croo (Belgian Vice Premier and Minister of Development Cooperation, the Digital Agenda, Telecom and Post) and Thomas Leysen (Chairman of KBC and Umicore) came together for a dynamic seminar on synergy of corporate social responsibility in promoting sustainable development through local entrepreneurship in developing countries.

Barbara Toorens, Close the Gap's Director of External and Partner Relations, spoke on how corporate social responsibility has positively impacted the work of Close the Gap, from the win/win partnerships that have been established all the way to start up of WorldLoop.

Close the Gap applauds Ondernemers voor Ondernemers for their vision and drive over the last 15 years, combining entrepreneurs, corporations and volunteers all committed to drive sustainable economic growth.
