Our biggest 2021 project? 750 laptops to ASBL AMONSOLI

Close the Gap continues to bridge the digital divide and once in a while, we're able to support enormous projects. ASBL AMONSOLI was our biggest project of 2021, where we were able to provide their Belgian and Burkinese facilities with no less than 750 laptops.

ASBL AMONSOLI is a Belgian association that aims to guide people with an immigrant background through their socio-professional and cultural integration. They strive to stimulate relations between people of different generations, cultures, socio-economic backgrounds to encourage the integration of people, to promote gender equality, to encourage (digital) literacy and to fight against isolation.

They aspire to bridge the digital divide too and that is why they contacted us.
"The accessibility to IT improves the quality of basic education through the use of new technologies and access to internet in schools in the Centre-East African region. IT can improve education for primary school and secondary school students, but also for the teachers."

"The laptops from Close the Gap allowed us to respond to a real need in Burkina Faso and we thank them for their continuous support! By giving us access to IT, Close the Gap allows our association to be more effective in our educational and social mission, and to give hope and strength to the people we help to be autonomous in their education."
