Fund Isaan

Fund Isaan is a non-profit organization established in 2008 supporting the education of children in the Isaan region of Thailand. Through various projects, Fund Isaan aims to provide children in the North East of Thailand with a better education. As such, it is the aim of the organization to organize and support initiatives in “left behind” regions in South-East Asia, more specifically but not exclusively, in Isaan, Thailand. To do so, they set up and maintain computer classes in different schools in the region. This is accompanied by Fund Isaan's volunteers, who are carefully selected and who are sent to the region to help local teachers and schools and help raise the level of the English language courses. The organization furthermore provides non-repayable scholarships to children with high intellectual potential but limited financial means. 

Close the Gap was grateful to provide Fund Isaan throughout the years with more than 650 computer devices. We are happy to with our material assist with their goals, and to be able to contribute to the wonderful aim they are defending and thereby together close the gap!
