The Flemish Interuniversity Council for University Development Cooperation (VLIR-UOS) supports research and higher education institutions in the South through partnerships with Flemish universities and higher education institutions.

VLIR-UOS wants to improve the capacity of institutions in the South and therefore asks Close the Gap to supply computers to its partner universities in developing countries and to social projects supported by the South-based educational institutions. VLIR-UOS guarantees sustainability by providing ICT maintenance and training for local staff.
