A future teacher of deaf children
‘I want to be a teacher and help other deaf children get a good education. I could teach them Kiswahili and English, my best topics, and make them feel at home in school, so they can receive lots of opportunities to learn and play, like I do.’
Zainab Shaban is a joyful and enthusiastic 17-year old girl who loves to play netball.
Zainab usually studies with her best friend Hellena Foya, so they can help each other. Zainab has both her parents and they love me very much. They live in Machame with her two sisters and one brother. Her favorite animal is the elephant, because they are so big, but also a very kind animal in the wild.
