A future farmer president

Joseph Masawe came to the Msandaka Deaf Centre from his Kibosho village when he was 14. He’s in 7th class now and especially loves studying English and Kiswahili. His best friend at school is Godwin, who’s in the 6th year. They stick together, because they have the same eye problem.
His mother is Joseph’s favorite person in the world. She takes good care of him and his brothers and sisters and cooks delicious rice and beans for the family.
You will often see Joseph making drawings, that’s his ‘happy time’. And he also enjoys taking care of cows (his favorite animal).
