Receiving his glasses was the best day ever
‘The best moment of my life was when the Lions Club paid for examining his eyes and I received my glasses. My life has become so much better since then. My dream is to be a carpenter, and when I study well, I will make it come true, my favorite teacher mister Mrema tells me!’
Godwin Pauli is a bright 18 old student. He enjoys studying at Msandaka because he can be together with other children with a similar disability, and the teachers are so friendly. Geography is his favorite topic.
Not the lion or the elephant is his favorite animal… it’s the goat! That’s because he cared for the family goats when he was a boy and enjoyed playing with them. And the traditional Ugali dish, made with maize flour and vegetables, is his favorite meal.
