Medical Centre ‘Larry Ebert’

Kossodo (Burkina Faso)

A medical centre has been built in the Kossodo province to offer good evidence-based medicine to the poorest part of the population in this part of Burkina Faso. The 2 priorities for the project are: 1. To start up a micro-mutuality project in order to guarantee the sustainability of the project on a longer term; and 2.To automatize the administration and the book-keeping in the hospital. Close the Gap’s contribution aims to help to achieve the second goal. The computers have been placed in a network with specialised software applications from the University Hospital from Jette in Belgium.
