Posted on 18/11/2010
On November 18th, Close the Gap received the Belgian HR award for the best HR contribution. Apparently, Close the Gap “Friends of” program seduced the jury composed by an independent judging committee gathering 9 senior HR Directors who represent significant employer organizations from the Belgian market (ING, UCB Group, Godiva, Microsoft, Besix Group, SPE Luminus, Belgacom, Coca-Cola and Umicore).
This award is a great recognition for Close the Gap but also for its long-time partners. It is also a mark of trust for the supported projects in developing countries.
For the first year, the Belgian world of HR united to celebrate the best in HR service and product delivery. As such, the HR Excellence Awards recognize the best in-class HR suppliers whose performance excels in terms of quality, delivery, achievements, value, innovation and great customer service.
But the HR Excellence Awards are not just recognizing what has been achieved so far. They are also an incentive to permanently innovate, listen to customers and seamlessly align with their challenges and expectations in human capital management, HR governance, talent recruitment and management, compensation & benefits, employer branding, etc.
The HR Excellence Awards provide Belgium’s HR suppliers with an opportunity to benchmark their work against the best. They showcase outstanding examples of innovative solutions, unparalleled service and real-value contribution towards an HR department’s goals. The HR Excellence Awards are also a barometer to measure the maturity of the sector, its capacity of innovation and its excellence in service delivery.
The Awards are open to all HR providers, whether they are service providers, consultants, product developers or another organization providing HR services. Big to small organizations, local or international, start-up’s or well established, the single condition for a supplier to be nominated is to deliver services from a local office.
